Central nervously acting analgesics of the morphine type belong to this closed group of active substances. The substances of this group have a high addiction potential. Frequent side-effects like nausea, vomiting, upper abdomen discomfort, xerostomia (dry mouth), constipation, dysphagia and/or diarrhea can appear. They are located in the central nervous system, however they can also be of peripheral origin.
