Anti-estrogenic agents are applied by some athletes to mask effects of the abuse of anabolic androgenic steroids, which may lead to gynaecomastia. A common side effect of anti-estrogenic substance use is headache. Short application of estrogen to man exhibits stimulatory effects on the central nervous system exerting high feeling of energy and libido.
